Susan Metros, associate chief information officer for Technology-Enhanced Learning and associate vice provost for Information Technology Services, has been named to the board of directors of EDUCAUSE, a nonprofit association that provides professional development opportunities, policy advocacy, and collaboration opportunities for members of the higher education information technology community.

EDUCAUSE is involved in several major initiatives in areas such as applied research, information security, IT policy in higher education, and technology-enhanced learning. Its current membership includes more than 2,200 colleges, universities and educational organizations, and 250 corporations that serve the higher education IT market.
