Lucy Avetisyan, Deputy Chief Information Officer
Lucy Avetisyan, USC’s Deputy Chief Information Officer, was appointed to her role in April 2018 and has served USC for over eleven years. She is a seasoned change leader known for building high-performance teams, guiding change, and achieving results to support the university’s missions of teaching, research, and patient care.
Avetisyan oversees university-wide services in the areas of information technology and operations, including infrastructure and application services, as well as the cross-functional teams that support the development and delivery of ITS products and services.
She is currently leading the strategic vision for IT at USC through the Digital Transformation initiative. IT Services has embarked on this journey to reimagine how technology can transform the campus experience at USC. ITS is prioritizing exceptional customer service, employee growth and fulfillment, and enabling USC’s continued ascent.
Avetisyan is a USC alumni, having earned bachelor’s degrees in broadcast journalism and political science, as well as an MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
